【摘要】:Therigidityofapolyolefinwebcanaffectitsmachinability,particularlyonthosepackagingmachineswhereacutportionofawebisrequiredtoremainflatmomentarilywithoutbeingsupportedonallsides.Rigidityisnotasimplepropertysinceitdependsontwootherpropertiesofthesample:thethickness(gauge),andthestiffnesswhichisaninherentpropertyofthematerialofwhichthefilmorsheetismade.Thecombinedeffectofthesetwofactorsistherigiditythatinfluencesperformanceonconvertingmachines.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestwoproceduresformeasuringtherigidityofpolyolefinfilmandsheeting.1.2ProcedureAprescribesaprocedureusinghigh-voltagestaticeliminatorsandtheuseofTFE-fluorocarbon-coatedplatestoovercomethespuriouseffectsofstaticelectricityandfriction.1.3ProcedureBprescribestheuseofafinepowderonuncoatedplatestoachieveasimilareffect.Note18212;Althoughthetwoproceduresaredesignedtoachievesimilareffect,theymaynotachievethesameresults.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note28212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
