【摘要】:ThispartofISO9239specifiesamethodforassessingthewind-opposedburningbehaviourandspreadofflameofhorizontallymountedflooringsexposedtoaheatfluxradiantgradientinatestchamber,whenignitedwithpilotflames.AnnexAgivesdetailsofassessingthesmokedevelopment,whenrequired.Thismethodisapplicabletoalltypesofflooring,e.g.textilecarpet,cork,wood,rubberandplasticscoveringsaswellascoatings.Resultsobtainedbythismethodreflecttheperformanceoftheflooring,includinganysubstrateifused.Modificationsofthebacking,bondingtoasubstrate,underlayorotherchangesoftheflooringmayaffecttestresults.ThispartofISO9239isapplicabletothemeasurementanddescriptionofthepropertiesofflooringsinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions.Itshouldnotbeusedalonetodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofflooringsunderactualfireconditions.
